Myra George, Mary Weafer, and Laurie Stuehmer of
GWS Interiors have worked in the design field
each over 8 years and together for 5. The GWS
design team specializes in designing beautiful,
efficient spaces, with a high attention to
detail. GWS Interiors is a high energy team
with commitment to customer service and client
satisfaction.
Myra
received a Bachelor of Science in Interior
Design from Wentworth Institute of
Technology. At Wentworth she was active in the
Student Chapter of the Society of Interior
Designers. Myra worked as a corporate space
planner for the headquarters of a large software
company, and then moved on to work as an
Interior Architect for one of our countries top
100 Commercial Architecture Firms. As a
Designer Myra met with clients in the initial
design phase, finish and furniture selection,
construction documents to the end of the
construction management and project delivery.
Her portfolio includes large scale and high end
corporate office spaces, and institutional
design. Her personal interests are residential
renovations, additions, furniture and finish
selection.
Mary received
a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from
Wentworth Institute of Technology. Following
she worked as an Interior Designer for design
firms in the Boston area working on every part
of the design process from programming,
conceptual design, design development, contract
documents to contract administration.
Projects include
high end and cost efficient office environments,
restaurant interiors and also has contributed in
the 'branding' of new companies. Prior to
studying Interior Design, Mary received an
Associates Degree in Visual Arts from Dean
College where she studied art history, painting,
sculpture and other various art mediums. She also has been an independent
color consultant and does hand painted art work
on walls and canvas. Mary is
NCIDQ certified (National Council for
Interior Designer Qualifications).

Laurie received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in
Interior Design, with a minor in Art
History, from the University of
Massachusetts, Amherst. Working as an
interior designer for both small and large
architectural firms in the Boston area her
projects ranged from 300,000 square foot
interiors to very small, more detailed
spaces. Projects include high-end office
space, non-profit organizations, retail
space, biomanufacturing labs, and
engineering firms. Laurie has been a part
of every phase of the design process from
conceptual design including client branding,
programming, design development, furniture
and finish selection, specification writing,
bidding, construction documents,
construction administration and project
management. Laurie oversees every step of
the project and is always in constant
contact with the client to ensure a
successful outcome. Laurie is
NCIDQ certified (National Certification
of Interior Design Qualifications).
